WELL,IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS NOW AND EVERY DAY I THINK SOMETHING ABOUT  MOM. THIS IS THE LAST WEEK OF HER LIFE THAT YEAR & TOUGH ON US ALL I'M SURE.THOSE HOSPITAL DAYS WERE BITTERSWEET CAUSE WE COULD TALK TO HER AND GET RESPONSE BUT SHE COULDN'T TALK BACK SO I WONDER IF SHE KNEW AND WISH SOMETIMES THAT I'D GIVEN A MINUTE ALONE WITH HER TO ASK IT & PERSONALLY SAY HOW MUCH I FELT THEN AND NOW-THAT LETTER FROM HEAVEN POEM SURE HELPED ME JUST NOW TO DEAL WITH SUCH HEAVY PAIN.YESTERDAY,I TOOK HER ASHES( AND NECKLACE SHE'D BOUGHT FOR A XMAS THAT WOULDN'T BE)AND CRIED WHILE I HELD THEM AND THEN, TO KEEP HER CLOSE;I CARRIED HER WITH ME ALL DAY:KINDA FELT LIKE SHE WAS WITH ME I GUESS.I'M STILL EMOTIONAL & PROBLY WILL BE AND IT AIN'T GETTING EASIER-THE PAIN JUSTS GETS A TINY BIT LESS IS ALL!! I STILL WANT MOM BACK AND WAIT FOR THE DAY TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN.UNTIL THEN,I'LL READ THAT POEM & CARRY ASHES & WEAR HER LOCKET SHE NEVER GOT TO GIVE

mom,remember the time when you were in florida and that damn seagull come and stole youre ice cream and you cussed them out?well do i got a story for you lol i was down with kathy and we got some pizza and went to walk on the beach and what do ya know a seagull flew right over kat's shoulder and stole her damn pizza we laughed so hard and kinda cried at the same time kathy looked up at heaven and said thanks mom we knew it was you coming through,i bet it was that same damn seagull that got you and you sent it back to get kathy lol,i beleive it was a sign of youre humor coming through playing with youre kids and laughing hysterically.I thought you might get a kick out of that.

I started crying the minute i came here, i still see her at work sometimes ill catch a glance of someone and it will stop me in my tracks take a double take.  I miss you so much and i often wonder how things would be different if you were still here.  I pray that i see you again in heaven, but until then watch over me and the rest of the family, ( our growing family!)

our mom deserved so much more then life gave her and she had it hard for along time but her children were everything and only thing she needed to make life brighter(along with dad)!we kids remember the ball games,the dinners she'd make,the time and jokes she gave;and her famous "looks" too for the troubles we all gave in our younger years.we remember her extra shifts she always pulled for our family,the yahtzee we'd play,the spades and pinochole she taught us.MISS YA BAD MOM!!! wanna talk and see you,feel ya.i cry still and talk to you and even kiss your ashes!No mom,not asses(but i would tho-to see you again!).the best tribute i suppose is to remember our mom and her humor,her love of people and be good to one another!!!  Close
